Handmade silver ring with hand carved Lapis Lazuli with the zodiac sign '‘Sagittarius’’.

The carving on the stone is taken from Abu Ma'shar, an early Persian astrologer. He is thought to be the greatest astrologer of the Abbasid court in Baghdad. While he was not a major innovator, his practical manuals for training astrologers profoundly influenced Muslim intellectual history and it is said to have been the most influential document in the development of western astrology.
