Handmade silver Amethyst necklace with carving of Melusine.

‘‘Melusine’’ is a creature similar to a mermaid or siren, but depicted as living in fresh water. It is often shown as twin tailed. In alchemy the Melusine represents enlightenment. The two tails of the siren represent symbolic dualities like water and earth, or body and soul.

Please note that each carving will slightly vary as each Amethyst is individually hand carved

Materials: Sterling Silver; Amethyst

Avoid storing the necklace in damp and hot conditions as this was cause the gold plating on the stone to discolour and tarnish quicker.
