Aset was Egyptian goddess of love, healing and fertility.. She was the most worshipped deity throughout Egyptian culture.

She was also a cosmic deity, with close associations to magic, the moon, the sun and the stars. Egyptians came to believe Aset could be found in the brightest star of the night sky, a symbol of wealth and prosperity. In some myths, Aset could even govern the seasons of the earth.
